Women’s Epic at Brighton Resort

10k, 2000+ft vertical gain

The Women’s Epic OG is back and better than ever! The iconic race that started it all just got a glow-up. With an upgraded course featuring a wider starting trail, gorgeous downhill single track, top-knotch amenities and epic views! The course is now a 10k distance with a little over 2000+ FT vertical gain. We can’t wait to celebrate YEAR 5 at Brighton Resort with you!

THE RACE WILL START AT 8AM. It is a 10k loop with nearly a 2000+ ft vertical trek to THE TOP OF THE GREAT WESTERN TRAIL and THEN LOOPING back down THROUGH PINES. You can hike, jog, or run your journey through wild-flowers and steep climbs. after completing your journey to the top of the world-class Brighton Resort located in Big Cottonwood Canyon.grab a pancake to celebrate IN OUR VENDOR VILLAGE/AFTER PARTY!

Begin your ascent at the Lake Mary trailhead and gradually climb Snake Creek and merge on the Clayton Peak Trail, all the while gaining vertical feet as you reach a shaded forest section of the race trail. This section is STEEP! Continue on to the ridge of the Great Western trail where you will be cheered-on as you begin your decent back down through pines down a gorgeous single track. Passto the finish line/celebration! This event is for all skill levels of adventure-seeking women!

*All swag-bags/bibs may be picked up Friday evening before the race (July 25. 5:30pm to 7:00pm) at Brighton Resort. I.D. must be provided. Or in the morning from 6:00-7:30am. Please refer to our Race Details tab as our policies have changed.
